Amanda Benedict

I am a cyclist & an attorney in San Diego, California. My law practice is a combination of bicycle litigation and appellate advocacy.

I love riding along San Diego's roads & trails and experiencing all that Southern California has to offer.

I started my law firm to enable me to work with fellow cyclists and advocate for increased awareness of issues faced by cyclists in San Diego.

Prior to starting my own firm, I worked for several years as a staff attorney at a non-profit law firm that administered the appointed counsel program for the Fourth District Court of Appeals.

In my private practice, I continue my work in appellate advocacy, representing clients in California's Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, as well as in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal

When I am not blogging, riding, writing appellate briefs, or working for her cycling clients, I donates my time to cycling advocacy organizations, clubs, and races.
